METU E-Theses

This project was started to provide web access to theses and dissertations that have been completed at the Middle East Technical University since April 2003. In September 2003, the METU Library Theses and Dissertations Archives was established and since that time students have been submitting their theses in both print and Adobe portable document format (PDF).

Since April 2004, the Middle East Technical University Library has been a member of Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (NDLTD, an initiative to improve graduate education, increase sharing of knowledge, help universities build their information infrastructure, and extend the value of digital libraries. In 2004, NDLTD has 204 members from all over the world: 177 member universities (including 7 consortia), and 27 institutions.
